President Trump has agreed to meet in person with North Korea leader, Kim Jong-un to discuss denuclearization. This came as a result of special invitation by the North Korea leader through a South Korean envoy to the United States President.

On his part, President Trump has accepted the invitation. According to the United States President @realDonaldTrump "Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!"

The White House has also acknowledged the invitation and working towards a place & time for the meeting. According to the White House, "We look forward to the denuclearization of NK. In the meantime all sanctions & maximum pressure must remain"
