Ariana Grande has suspended her world tour until 5 June in the wake of the terror attack at her Manchester concert that claimed the lives of 22 people and left dozens more critically injured. A statement released by the singer said she wanted to pay "proper respects to those lost" after suicide bomber Salman Abedi detonated an explosive device in the foyer of her concert on Monday.

The singer had been due to perform two concerts at London's O2 Arena on Thursday and Friday, which will no longer go ahead. The pop star's shows on her Dangerous Woman tour were cancelled until 5 June in London, Antwerp, Belgium, Lodz, Poland, Frankfurt, Germany, and Zurich. All ticketholders will be granted refunds, Grande's team said.

Fans of the singer had been leaving her concert on Monday night when the attack happened. The singer wrote on Twitter shortly after the bombing: "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."
