AS BRITONS remember the people’s princess 19 years on from her death, here is a look back at her life in pictures.

Princess Diana died from serious injuries in the early hours of August 31 1997 after a terrible car crash in Paris.

Her tragic death led to a huge outpouring of grief among the British public who laid masses of floral tributes in her memory.

As Britain marks the 19th anniversary of her death on Wednesday, here is a selection of photographs from her life.
